By adhering to our strategic plan and theory of change, the Right to Development aims to make significant strides toward realizing the fundamental human right to development for all individuals. Through our commitment to community empowerment, policy advocacy, partnerships, and sustainable practices, we aspire to contribute to a more just, equitable, and prosperous world.
We recognize the importance of ongoing education and awareness-raising efforts to promote understanding of the RD and empower individuals to claim and exercise their rights.
Peacebuilding is not just a cornerstone, but the very foundation of our organization's commitment to the Right to Development. We firmly believe that sustainable development can only be achieved in an environment of peace, where individuals and communities are liberated from conflict, violence, and oppression. Through our initiatives, we are not just fostering inclusive dialogue, addressing root causes of conflict, promoting reconciliation, and empowering marginalized groups, but we are also actively working towards a world where peace is not just a dream, but a reality. By prioritizing peacebuilding, we are creating the necessary conditions for all individuals to realize their rights to dignity, equality, and prosperity.
In agriculture, we focus our intervention on crop and livestock production, aquaculture, fisheries, and forestry.
In addition to the other thematic areas, we focus on a host of:
-
Environmental issues
-
Effects of environmental issues
-
Mitigation and adaptation
We believe access to healthcare, clean water, and sanitation are fundamental human rights. Our initiatives focus on ensuring equitable access to these essential services, especially for marginalized and underserved populations.
