Thematic Areas
Human Rights
Right to Development is a journey of trust, facilitated by equitable access to resources, opportunities, and capabilities necessary for individuals and communities to achieve their full potential and participate actively in the development process. Our programs and initiatives are a testament to this, designed to empower marginalized and vulnerable populations, ensuring their inclusion and participation in decision-making processes that affect their lives. We advocate for policies and practices that prioritize sustainable Development, environmental conservation, and social justice in alignment with the principles of the Right to Development. We collaborate with governments, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders to advance the realization of RD at local, national, and international levels. In our operations, we uphold principles of transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct, ensuring that our actions contribute more broadly to the advancement of RD and human rights, and providing reassurance and confidence in our commitment.

Peace Building
Right to Development (RTD) is a global nonprofit organization committed to promoting human rights, social justice, and sustainable development across communities worldwide. Within its multifaceted approach to community development, RTD recognizes the critical importance of peacebuilding as a thematic area. Peacebuilding is not just the absence of violence but encompasses a range of activities aimed at preventing conflict, resolving disputes, and fostering reconciliation and social cohesion. In this detailed account, we explore how RTD integrates peacebuilding into its community development initiatives, the strategies employed, and the impact achieved.

Environment & Climate Change
Right to Development (RD) supports programs designed to address air and water pollution, climate change, soil degradation, exploitation of natural resources, biodiversity loss, deforestation, desertification, and ocean acidification. RD ensures that communities recognize and appreciate water quality and access, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), and eliminating vector-borne diseases and exposure to toxic chemicals.

Education
Right to Development (RD) supports programs that extend the reach of national education systems to remote and underserved communities. These include remedial education, access to technology resources, teacher training, and extracurricular projects. RD's mission also supports formal and informal education programs in information technology and vocational skills in rural and city communities, prioritizing women and girls.

Agriculture & Food Security
Right to Development (RD) supports projects working toward agricultural sustainability in developing countries that suffer from the impact of population growth and climate change, poor technology, and policy and management issues. RD helps smallholder farmers with crop management, storage, timely market information, mobile phone-based training services, savings and loan programs, and resource acquisition.
